Sun Ultra 10 cdrom setup

I’ve a Sun Ultra 10 Sun solaris 8.0 which need to be reinstalled.Can anyone recommend me how to boot from the cdrom and avoid my Sun system booting directly to CDE which previously is not the case.Previously my system is halt after the system initialized the memory and stood with the command OK,i had just reset the factory values.
Pls advise.
