SUS

Hi all

I’m going to be setting up an SUS server within a W2k3 domain, on a W2k3 server, clients are all WinXP Pro.
I’ve been doing a bit of reading on SUS and it all sounds good, well apart from you can’t update drivers through it, but never mind.

So far I’ve tested it on a test network with three XP clients, all works well, apart from one slightly major thing.
In order for SUS updates to take place the network user needs to be a member of the local computers admin account. I’ve tried it with power user settings and just user settings but neither work.

So my question is this, is there a way or more accurately, how do you deploy SUS WITHOUT giving the network user local admin permissions?
