Suse Linux Samba Autentication problem

I ran samba on suselinux 10.3and try to use it as a file svr.Its perfectly connected to windows client machines.I created users in Linux svr but when I try to log in from the the windows xp machine to the Linux server,it just cant allow me even the username passwords I supplied are correct. Can somebody verify what causing this.
