Sushi Slinging Robot

Yes, I said a Sushi Slinging Robot. I get this email that says it’s from TechRepublic Enterprise Spotlight [newsletters@techrepublic.online.com], and I’m invited to join Thrillist and maybe win a fully stocked bar of boutique booze. The other benefits are that I can get daily emails about the newest stuff in my city. They promise that it doesn’t suck.

Recent discoveries include the aforementioned Sushi Slinging Robot.

It goes on to say that I’m receiving this email because I’ve indicated that I wanted to receive valuable information from technology vendors.

This is a technology vendor? Really?

OK, first, I don’t drink. I don’t like the taste, the way it makes me feel (drunk on one weak drink), and the way it makes my stomach hurt. Second, I live in a small town, work in a smaller, more boring one, and don’t need a daily email about sushi robots.

Any other bizarre “technology vendor” emails that you may have gotten from TR or anyone else?
