switch from LAN TO WAN administration

i finished BE in india,i have 2 years exp in LAN administration.i want to switch over to network(WAN) administration.i finished CCNA but this time if i apply for network administration,they ask exp in the WAN. i dont have,but i want to work in that domain.what i have to do
