Switch or Hub?

I have a room that has a network jack (100baseT) on the wall which is hooked to a patch panel and can be connected to our hub. There is no PC currently connected to it. I will be putting four PCs in this room. My question is should I use a switchor a hub for this workgroup? I thought if I used a switch this would provide better bandwidth. Or should I just use a hub and connect the hub to the jack because it’s still just going through another hub? Orrrr, Should I just have our cable company come in and pull three more connections directly to this room?
