Hello,
I have a question about how long can a switched network be spread. For example, I need to connect computers along a route which is as long as 700 meters.
Computers are distributed along the route, and the fiber is quite expensive because of number of station I will need to install.
So the question, how many swtiches can I connect without a router? For example, Assuming that we have Fast Ethernet switches here, can I connect?: hub- <100 -switch- <100m -switch- <100m -switch- <100m -switch- <100m -switch- <100m -switch- <100m -hub. In any case I would like to review some web acrticles about it. And if you know it, I hope you'll post it here. Waiting for your reply, Andrey Nepomnyaschih nas@assystems.lv
