We are using the Symantec Corporate Edition 8.x as our antivirus software. Our primary server is an xp machine (this is where the rest of the parent servers are downloading their definition files) and the rest are the parent servers (which are running on netware 6, service pack 2). There are about 35 parent servers that are downloading to this primary server with no problem. Each of this 35 parent servers have their own clients that downloads their definition files from. The problem is when some of this norton clients which is running on an xp machine, stop upgrading their definition files after a period of time. This doesn’t occurs at the same time, they just die down one at a time (you see the exclamation point next to the shield icon in the system tray). Note that this parent servers have only one nic card and we are using tcp/ip. Any suggestions on this matter?
