Symantec Defination Update Problem

I have Symantec ver.10.1 loaded on windows 2003 Server & i am managin clients. I hv installed client on few PCs. I have problem with one Toshiba Laptop where i have loaded Symantec Client but when i am trying for defination update for this specific user message comes near windows firewall that ‘this is blocked pl. use this to rectify your problem’. I cannot make firewall off as this options is not highlited.
Kindly let me know how to configure Windows Firewall (XP2) to make defination & license update on this client.
