Does anybody know of an easy way or an Exchange 2000 add-on that will help synchronize public folder with private folders?
Our policy is that all our contacts must reside in the public folder where everyone can access it. To prevent accidental deletion of data, we’ve taken write priviledge away from everyone except for one person, who does all of contacts updates. This setup works fine but now people want to add and attach information to the note section of the contact, is there a way to do this without giving them write access to the directory?
I was thinking just have them add the information to their personal contact list and then do a one way sync so that our main contact list will get updated automatically. Is there some kind of add-on for exchange that can automatically sync (from client to server only)everyone’s contacts to the one in the public folder?
