We are running an extremely old version of UNIX. It is a System V/88 Release R32V3 Version 981230 M88100 running on a Motorola box.
We are having problems printing large print jobs to an HP Laserjet 8150DN, that when the printer runs out of paper, the job is lost and only what is in the buffer is printed when paper is added. We need to know if there is anything we can do in UNIX that may cure this problem or is it the fact that this version of UNIX is just TOO old to work with today’s new equipment.
I’ll be looking forward to hearing from anyone about this.
Thanks,
Scott
