System will not boot

Hi All, Got a real problem here.

Got a server workstation to use, however, it won’t go past the POST startup page. Here’s what happens.

System powers up, goes to the POST page, then page goes blank, and system powers off after about 20 seconds.

Here’s my setup. AMD Opteron dual-core (x2), 4GB RAM, 2GB per CPU, 40GB 10K SCSI HD, DVD/CDRW combo, NVIDIA video card. Nothing else.

I have swapped the SCSI cable, thinking bad terminator, or bad cable all together, removed 1 CPU, and it’s allocated RAM, swapped the video card, Nothing I have done is working. Results are the same. Any suggestion would be GREATLY appreciated.
