taking very long time when first time login to DNS

Hi all,
I setup a DNS under windows 2k advance server sp4 in our LAN. it seems to be running not properly whenever a new workstation (xp sp2) was setup to login first time. it will stay in “please wait while domain list is created” and “loading personal setting…..” for very long time. checked the event viewer and found a warning from souce: Dnsapi， event id:11164, then I have set my DNS
enable to dynamic updates for clients. but it doesn’t help. Workstation with xp sp1 installed are responding little fast. Does anybody has the idear how to fix it. I appreciate all your help and suggestion.
