Talking Printer

I have a Lexmark x83 printer which scans, copies and prints. It’s OK, but it talks to me. “Printing started.” “Printing Complete.”
“Black ink low.”
And my personal favorite: “Please load paper in the auto sheet feeder.” Yikes! How can I disable this questionable feature?
