TCP Slow-Start

Hi Folks,

I wonder if someone coule help me out of a spot.

I am aware that RFC1122 states that TCP slow-start should be enabled in on-line networks but I have been reliably informed that it can be disabled on a Private Network that is not connected on-line.

My question is how do you disable slow-start?

Your assist in this matter would be much appreciated
