Is there a way to forward TCP and UDP broadcasts over subnets with the help of software/WinNT server?
What I want to do is the following: I want to forward the broadcasts DirectPlay is doing on port 47624 when it is searching for game sessions (please correct me if this is wrong). The problem is that many newer games don’t allow the user to specify the IP of a game server but instead rely on the auto-search of DP which makes them unplayable if the game host is located in another subnet.
I would appreciate any hint you can give.
