I left techrepublic almost 5 years ago because of all of the newsletters and whitepapers they stuff in my inbox every day.
A few weeks ago I joined again, turning OFF every option for an email or newsletter or any whitepapers or third party/partner emails.
The VERY next day I recieve 4 emails in the morning and two more in the afternoon.
Today, two weeks later, I am still getting them. I go to log into my account here on the site and every checkbox I turned OFF was turned ON!
This site is a great resource, but, somebody over on the techrepublic side needs to get their shite straight as far as emailing members. You seriously can’t expect someone to effectively use these emails when they come in by the handful every day.
As such, I will close the membership, again.
Epic fail there, techrepublic marketing screw-offs.
