Tekram SCSI card can’t detect devices

Hi

I have installed a DC-315U PCI SCSI card into a PC running Windows 2000 and it appears in the devices list correctly, but I can not get the system to detect any of the external SCSI devices attached to the card.

I have a Ricoh CDRW (MP6200s) attached as the first device setting id 1). and a Umax astra scanner (1220s) as the 2nd device (setting id 5).

I have tried removing the scanner and terminating the cable after the cdrw but this makes no difference.

Any help would be appreciated.
