Terminal Server Cursor disappearance

One of the applications we run uses terminal Server Client. The program it accesses while using w2K will not show the text cursor in any applicable fields. This is not an issue in NT 4 SP 6b or lower. The mouse pointer is not changing it is simply disappearing when brought over the text field. We have been working this issue with the vendor for 6 weeks.Any Ideas?
