Terminal Server Install

I have recently tried to install terminal server NT4.0 on a Dell 6500 system. I am having problems auto-detecting my hardware devices upon initial setup,so i manually configured the adapters and controllers. It can now see the adapters, but cannot see the SCSI Drives. Whats going on??
