Terminal service client slow down

We are usint TS servers (cluster) to distribute control application for industrial production units. With W2003 server R2, we experience, on the side of XP RDP clients, screen data update slow down after few hours of connection. This does not happend on the servers. We use the latest TS client 6.0 issued by MS in november 2006.
Does anyone have an idea?
