Terminal Services- Is there a maximum

I cannot find any info from Microsoft or anywhere else that will tell me what the suggested or maximum # of remote desktop clients (terminal services clients) that a 2003 server can typically handle before experiencing problems. I know from the people selling 3rd party printing solutions are saying only 20-30.
