Some of my users are experiencing problems with Terminal Services Remote Desktop not closing properly when exiting a specific application which is server based. The application will close but the terminal service window will not, it stays on a blue screen. It closes properly about 50-60 percent of the time. The users have to close the window to disconnect, then I have to log into my server as Administrator and open the Terminal Services Management console to reset the specific user instance. Once this is done, the user can login again to access the application. If not, when they try to login again, it comes back to the blue screen until the TS occurance is reset. We are using Server 2003 Small Business with the updated Terminal Service package on XP SP2 desktops. The TS client is configured correctly to automatically open the application upon login using Remote Desktop. Am I missing something simple?
