We recently installed a VPN over DSL lines using SonicWall Firewalls. We use MAS90 accounting package & remote users experienced a significant reduction in speed while entering transactions. Our MAS software support suggested we have the remote users log in using terminal services, which we did. The speed problem was solved, but print jobs halted part-way through and would only finish printing after we clicked “OK” on an error message which displayed on the Win2K server stating that we are out of disk space, delete files to make more room. We have enough space. We then loaded a “Generic” printer driver for the Brother printers we use, and that solved the problem, but now this generic driver has caused other problems, namely the inability to print pdf files, or other non-MAS reports. I would like to re-load the full printer drivers, but avoid the error message on the server. Any ideas?
