Text problem in IE5 and Netscape4.5

Hello,
In both browsers, text is broken up and barely legible. This seems to occur only in the browsers. I have reloaded Windows 98SE, IE5 and Netscape to no effect. I can’t seem to find a solution to this problem. Any feedback would be appreciated.
