Hello,

I have an issue since 1 month with our Exchange 2003 SP1 server running on W2K server SP4. Some external people trying to send an email to an email address or a distribution list email box receive the following error message:

Your message

To: “contact@ourdomain.be”
Subject: XXX
Sent: Mon May 21 04:53:23 2007

did not reach the following recipient(s):
contact@ourdomain.be on Mon May 21 04:53:23 2007

The e-mail account does not exist at the organization this message
was sent to. Check the e-mail address, or contact the recipient
directly to find out the correct address.

Has anyone got any idea where this might come from? I’ve already checked several possible causes like: forwarders to non-existant mailboxes, message has been sent to obsolete PAB entries or mailbox was moved to a different administrative group. None of these are true.

Since about one month ago, I activated the Sender ID function on the Exchange 2003 server, I thought that this could be the reason of my issues, because it happening only sometimes. Most of the messages sent from outside arrive without any problems. I tried sending from gmail account, with or without attachs…

And oh yeah, one last note, there is GFI mailessentials for Exchange v 12 running on this server.

Thanks a lot already for reading my post!

Regards,

G?nther
