The Keyboard doesn’t work

Hey friends

I got a problem with my laptop !
The main keyboard is working well ,but
when I connect another keyboard through PS/2 port (which one we use for the mouse ),the second one can not work !
The two of them were working properfully !Can someone tell me how I can fix this problem ?
Is it the hardware problem or the software problem ?
I need your help !
