I did not setup this access method but currently I have a remote user using cisco vpn to access the corp lan to run outlook and access shares. The laptop is a member of the domain, however (not sure why) the user logs in to the machine locally using the same username as the their domain name. They cannot access shares or Outlook this way and have to use OWA for now. The account immediately gets locked out when trying to open Outlook or a shared folder. When trying to access a share the message is the referenced account is currently locked out and may not be logged on to. I can unlock in active directory but it will just reoccur. I checked the local user account and it is not locked. Any thoughts. I cannot have this laptop logged into the domain locally anytime soon.
