The role of a systems analyst

Hi, I am a grad student (MSIS candidate) in D.C. and have the task of writing a paper about the job of a systems analyst.

Rather than scour the web for generic descriptions, I thought it would be prudent to reach out to true IT pros and get the “real” scoop on Systems Analyst and their roles within different organizations.
