“The RPC service is not available” error messages when printing.

Hi,

I have two wireless XP laptops and have had printer error messages of “The RPC service is not available” error messages. Each time I verified the settings Remote Procedure Call (RPC) = Started and automatic. Don’t think I changed anything. Waited about ten minutes and then the darn think started working! Please advise since I have a client with same problem I have yet to fix.
