There are Currently No Logon Servers Available

Hello,

We are running a Win2003 Server as our PDC. We also have a NT Server that has managed to stay around. The NT 4 Server is in a different domain and is also the PDC. A trust relationship is defined.

The NT machine never seems to have any problem seeing the Win2003 domain. Howvever, once in awhile the Win2003 Domain machines cannot access the NT Domain. The error message is “There are Currently No Logon Servers Available”.

I believe this is a netbios issue as all machines can ping the Nt server.

I think the was to fix this is by editing the LMHOSTS file. I am just not surevhow to configure the entry. Does anyone have any pointers?
