Time stamp problems?

I see posts with time stamps noting that they’ve been started at 2:35 pst on August 2.

It’s 1:30 CST where I am, and it’s August 2, so if I’m 2 hours ahead of PST, then how are they posting at 2:35 today? If they post the exact same time as I do, shouldn’t that read 11:35 pst?

Are we in a time warp continuum? I wonder what the timestamp on my post will say?
