Time Synchoronisation

Hi,

I have setup an NTP server in my site and now my PDC emulator is successfully able to sync time with NTP server but I have got one doubt if anyone can provide with some link on this “Benefits and risks involved if my root DC(PDC Emulator) server will take update from Internet directly. I have doubts on this please assist.
