To Access folders of windows XP from windows 2000 having NTFS file system

i have a windows 2000 sever with NTFS file system, but i cant get access to a shared folder on windows XP.The same folder can be accessed from any other windows 2000 server having FAT32 file system.Kindly help me on how to get access to the to XP system from windows 2000 sever with NTFS file system.
