To anyone I don’t know that sends me a Peermail …

#1 Firstly, you’re wasting your time – if I don’t recognise you I’m most likely to ignore the email.

#2 Don’t expect to get a quick answer if I don’t know who you are.

#3 Don’t send me a PM without ANY title – I then cannot relate the PM to an existing thread.

#4 Don’t send me a PM without any title when you have NEVER posted ANYTHING on TR.

#5 I am NOT a repository for illegal activities (you all know who you are!) and will not respond to people looking for get-arounds or cracks.

#6 If what you are asking about cannot be posted in public on TechRepublic, don’t send it to me instead – I’m not interested.

Intrinsically, the luxury of the Peermail system is for quick access between PEERS – not for anonymous unexpected emails appearing out of the blue, from people I have never heard of before.

Clearly none of the above refers to any of my existing long-term email contacts.

What is wrong with these people that email for no reason other than to get something for nothing???

//End of rant// 🙂
