to set up pc in lan win2000

i have installed win2000 and want to add the computer to the local workgroup . all the other pc’s are win 98 os running . please guide me how to add the pc to the workgroup. it dosen’t even the other comp’s in the group . is there any part of installing the nic driver . dosen’t w2000 installs it
please help me.
