Token Ring Port Identification

I currently support an old Token ring network comprimising of IBM 8250 modules.

I remember reading some where that you can run a batch file or execute a particular command from cmd prompt that would cause the activity LED on the module to continually flash for 10 seconds or so.

can anybody help?
