Tomcat Administration-Session

I have a windows 2003 server and tomcat 6 is running on that.In tomcat we hosted 3 application.I need to record the number of sessions for one application for a particular period of interval.The report has to be automatically saved.Is there any possiblilitied to record the no of session in tomcat.
