Too much power?

I have a Gateway Performance PIII w/Intel (Tabor) motherboard and the power supply has blown. But, I have a spare 250 watt power supply(brand new)that has been laying around.
The blown power supply is 200 watt. My question is… Is the 250 watts too much wattage for the m’board etc.?
