toshiba satellite a105 power problem

When I plug my toshiba satellite a105 into the wall, the only thing that happens is the lite on the Caps lock key, the 2 lights above the “9” and “0” keys, and the light on the power key begins to blink at the same time and I can hear a clicking noise each time they blink. My power key has been sliding around for awhile and I have to push down on it hard so wondering if I’ve pushed too hard on it at sometime and it doesn’t know if it’s on or off and that’s why the blinking is caused. Help!
