Sorry, I have no patience for official channels, so I’ll just dump the stuff here. What can I say, I’m a rebel.
So, Search is shot. If I search for, say, “Now that’s impressive”, I get a long list of results from all content types. Then I click the dropdown which lets me choose content types : I see the number of hits as divided among the various content types.
Specifically, I see “Discussion Threads (15)”. I click there, which takes me to a page which says “Now that’s impressive (0 results)”.
What’s worse, I can’t sort the huge list of results first found by date, either – that too leads to the 0 results page.
This doesn’t sound like a difficult bug to fix, sounds like search filters aren’t being applied correctly by the script, but it has a big impact on the usefulness of the forums and site in general, for normal users too.
