The links in my TR e-mails stopped working earlier this week.
Links in the e-mail like
http://ct.techrepublic.com.com/clicks?t=54401976-2982ad41002d30b19492faffb8fd77eb-bf&brand=TECHREPUBLIC&s=5
go to “Cannot file server or DNS error.”
I forwarded e-mail to my other machine (connected to same LAN / firewall) and the same link, when clicked on that machine magically takes me to
http://blogs.techrepublic.com.com/hiner/?p=722&tag=nl.e019
even though the link in the e-mail is the same (ct.techrepublic.com.com…)
Both clients runnin XP SP2, Outlook 2003 e-mail client. I rebooted machine, ran flushdns, etc… How is redirect working and why not on both machines? Before this week no problems – nothing else changed – no updates, no SP’s only software I installed was an ASP.NET component suite for VS2008.
