Trouble with Internet and DNS

I have a Windows 2000 workstation, that is having trouble getting to the Internet. I am also trying to import the workstation into the domain. I can ping the IP addresses of the servers, and the DNS names. I cannot terminal service from this machine. Any ideas would be great.
