-hey guys before i got my present job i was a computer technician for 10 months. And i have seen most of the computer problems but one of the problems that i honestly dont know where to start looking for possible causes is when a computer slows down considering that, that computer has a good specs. just like recently i was called by 1 of our users saying her computer is very slow and is not responding. Her PC has a specs of 2.8 Ghz Pentium D a 256 MB memory with 2000GB virtual memroy and 40GB HDD. the unit was also recently scanned for viruses. it has a internet access but it is under a proxy server with an access list so she can only access websites that i will specify. and there are no other softwares installed except those the she really needed and on that time that she called she is only using her PC for word processing and nothing more no other programs are running except MS word. i eliminated every possible causes for the problem when i checked the unit, until i ended up to nothing and gave my self a question “why did it went slow and stop responding”. i also went to the task manager and check its memory usage and its abou “275 MB” is being used and im not even sure if that is that is the cause of the problem…
