Trust between NT4.0 and SBS4.5

I am having trouble creating a trust between a NT4.0 server and an SBS4.5 server in another domain on the same LAN. I can go through the normal steps in User Manager and nothing is grayed out but I continue to get access denied. I just had another tech support rep tell me I can’t create a Trust between NT and Small Business Server? Is this correct? If not, does anyone know how to create a successful Trust?
