Trust Relationship XP to Win2K PDC

I have one domain with a PDC. A XP workstation can see the domain controller and can map a drive on that PC. However when I attempt to add a user on the XP so the user can access a shared zip drive I get an error “trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed”. My research into Help, TechRepublic and Google Groups did not turn up the solution.

Any ideas?
