TWAIN needs Admin to scan

Hi forum gurus

As u are aware, numerous picture editor such acdsee, irfran, corel paint use TWAIN as source to acquire image from scanners.

My problem is i need to run the picture editor as Administrator else an error will occur when if i try to use TWAIN to acquire image.

How can i tweak XPWin to allow TWAIN to be use by any user to the PC. I had tried use sharing & security tab on the folders and files in windows directory relating to TWAIN but in vain.

Help needed.
