Two routers on a single network

Hi folks,
i ran into this issue yesterday while i was trying to split a large ntwk.
i connected router_1 (a linksys wrt150N wireless) to a VSAT modem with a fix IP. Router_2(a linksys wrt54GL) is connected via cable to the ethernet port of of router_1.
the issue is, i cant share printer and files between PCs on router_1 and those on router_2. i need help here. thanks.
