We are looking to migrate to new premises, and I need to ensure that our internet access speed is going to remain acceptable.
I also need to take a stronger look at our security implementations.
We have approximately 20 PC’s and 1 (NT 4)server. Moving from a shared office with 2Mb connection, we will need to reconfigure the network. To date, I have not been responsible for the security since we have been “protected” by a 3rd party firewall.
Will ADSL be sufficient for 20 heavy internetusers who will be continually streaming media, and visiting any number of web pages? Additionally the variety of expenses incurred by moving premises mean that the budget for solutions is now looking dismal. How can I ensure that our network has an acceptable level of security on a low budget?
