Un-colorizing text on XP desktop icons

A co-worker asked me how to remove the colored background from the text of the Desktop Icons. I didn’t think it would be that hard, but it’s more difficult then I thought. I’m not finding it in Desktop Settings, does anyone know where I can change this?
